A couple of years ago I had a friend (Andy Proctor, the founder of More Happy Life) posted his year-in-review on facebook and I loved it. It was cool to see all of the things he had accomplished over that year. I tried my best to remember all of the things I did in that same year, but it was hard to come up with a list as cool as his. I made it my goal that next year to track all of the major events, accomplishments, and cool things I did from then on out.
#ProTip: It’s a lot easier to remember everything you’ve done if you write it down as it happens throughout the year.
What’s the coolest thing you did last year? Please share in the comment section below.
Here is my list for 2019:
Getting Outside My Box
- I went to a Tony Robbins event and I walked on fire and coals that were 1,200+ degrees. I learned that if you can walk on fire, there’s not a whole lot in this world you can’t do.
- I started an “Ask For A Discount” challenge to get me out of my comfort zone. I asked for a discount about 75% of the time. Pretty much anywhere I bought something except Walmart and gas stations. I ended up saving over $1,500 throughout the whole year.
- I allowed “Doctor Fish” to nibble at my feet at a place called Cute Fish Spa in Kuala Lumpur. It was an interesting feeling, to say the least.
- I ate durian. The worst smelling fruit ever. It didn’t taste bad, but it smells so bad that it’s illegal in most hotels throughout Asia because the smell can actually stain the walls.
